396 & manifolds in! Which dual exhaust does peanut gallery recommend?

Anyone have good experiences from any of the vendors out there? Maybe a particular dual exhaust out there is well made, well priced and easy to install?

I'm open to suggestions? Or even if you tell me to avoid certain ones as well....

I like the dual exhaust made by Hooker that Summit sells. It fits either manifold or headers and is very reasonably priced. You buy the mufflers separately. I have bought a few sets over the years for different cars. It always fit and performed well. The price is very reasonable compared to fancier brands.

I have the Pypes system and the tail pipes are terrible. I hear the flowmaster system fits great, you then just throw away those mufflers and buy a real muffler.

I've heard a lot of people say flowmasters don't really flow.
