Mike ...Aloha Bobby and Rose..man you pulled that one out of the air....I remember that movie. Big Bad Bob Milner from American Graffiti plays Bobby right ?..that movie was kinda bla but as I remember..and I was a young kid..the Camaro was Bad @$$

Anyone got anymore....?

Hey the movie Steve McQueen drove that Camaro around in I think was called "Bullit". There's a great scene where he chases an old Plymouth and it crashes into a gas station. While it's burning you can s............never mind that wasn't a Camaro.

Seriously though the movie "Independence Day", not the martian movie with Will Smith, the original Independence Day. It's kind of a chick flick, but the leading man drives a 69 Camaro (has Z emblems) and he works as a mechanic. He races the car and his life is centered around his car. He falls in love and well you know the rest. Some great footage of the Camaro and it's a good movie, bar drinking, fighting, suicide/murder, cheating and death of a loved one. Recomended viewing.

"The Pick-up Artist" with Robert Downey Jr. '68 RS Convertible If I remember right.

How bout the 67 or 68 white Camaro as "stand in" for the Challenger in "Vanishing Point" - a cult classic must see Mopar movie.

The Camaro was used for the crash scene (instead of the Challenger) were the lead caracter "Kowalski" smashes into two bulldozers at top speed - Anyone remember that one

"After The Sunset" from 2004 starring Pierce Brosnan and Woody Harrelson. Brosnan (who plays a proffessional succesful thief) drives a nice 69 dark blue convertible with white Z28 stripes, always with the top down in nice sunny Hawaiiiee.

How can you forget Salyma Hayek ? That movie is worth seeing just for her and the car!

Regarding to the commercial comment a few "pages" back..... I was just glad the Farmers insurance commercial wasn't a '68!

I think there was a first gen camaro in the movie Bad Boys with will smith and martin lawrence. The bad guys are chasing will smith and it gets wrecked and blown up. Its near the beginning.

Dont forget Christine where a gold First Gen gets T Boned into that gas station and blows up.

Joey
Correction after 2 years of being the wrong color the correct color was / is ... Grey / Silver .......... and btw it had no engine in it when it got T-boned .. you could see straight thru the ground when the hood was all Fubar to an angle.
