As the subject suggests...

Let's say you just sold your car (or for some of you, cars..) And you were looking for the next candidate.

Considering this is so close to Christmas, and you could go after any specific vehicle, what would it be? What's your wish? (It doesn't have to be a Camaro, but, I'm guessing that it would be one, because of the audience.)

I'll toss out my first candidate:
Cortez Silver X11, 350/4 Speed, 12 Bolt. 69 69 color, 711 interior. No stripes, cowl hood is optional.

Because a copo is not an option for me, a base model would be perfect, in silver. Doesn't even need to have a center console, or receive FM. It's my first car, and would make a great cruiser..

Well, I have my dream car now, if I sold it, I would LOVE to find a 70 / 71 Charger RT. I know its all the rage now, but I have loved the Charger and 68 RS Camaro for a very long time. I often dream about finding some barn somewhere that I could store all of my finds. Im in the Army, so having a fleet of 10 cars doesnt work well when it comes time to move. Heck, right now I have four cars (03 Tahoe, 79 Fiat Spider (which I just had to repo from a kid that bought it and stopped paying and just want to get rid of it again), 70'ish M151 and my Camaro), and its just me by myself. Anyway, my dream garage (barn) would be;
70 Charger
30 / 31 Model A
66 or 67 GTO
69 SuperBee
72 K5 Blazer
78'ish Cheerokee Chief
any year M715 (the old 1/4 tone Kaiser Jeep)
But I guess I need to thin out the lot a bit before I go looking for anything else. Bad thing is (or good thin I guess), Im in back woods Alabama where I can easily find some real gems sitting in old fields, but dont have any place to put them, even if they arent on my list lol.

A '66 Marina Blue, L-79, Duece Coupe that is optioned as identical to my '67, 350SS/RS car that I ordered as I coulda ordered it!!

That's what I wanted in the first place but it was too late to order one in '66 after I had worked long enough on the RR back then to save up it's down payment..

I think I’d want another 67 Ghia 450SS. Had to sell mine with a parts car before I’d finished restoring it when my son was born several years ago. It went to Houston and this may be the same car.

Any of the mid-year big block Corvettes would suit me just fine. I think a high maintenance but brutally wicked L-88 in a `67 coupe is calling my name right now. Um.....Santa.....can you hear me?-----Scott

Well, I did just sell my car. I have several "favorites" 1966-1967 Novas, 1966 Chevelle, 1970 Chevelle, 1970-1972 Nova, 1935 Chevy, 1956 Chevy car or truck.

With that said I looked for a decent project and couldn't find one. So I bought a 1961 Buick Skylark. Should be a challenge to make this thing nice looking. I just wanted something other than a Camaro for a while.

Sounds to me like you are thinking about selling, or buying. If that is the case make sure you at least know what you want before you sell. You just might change your mind once you start shopping around.

Make sure you are 100% ready to sell (if that is the case). I have made that mistake in the past, it's horrible. This last time I knew I was ready to sell and I haven't looked back.

I love the look of the 67-68 Camaro, especially with RS more then any other car in the world. I am a 2nd generation true blue Chevy nut, when I was born I rode home from hospital in a SS409, first day of kindergarden was a SS396 Chevelle and when Dad needed a family car it was a 427 Impala wagon. With that said, it has been bothering me lately that every cruise night, car show or any gathering that there are always at least a dozen 1st generation Camaros. My mind has been wandering due to this lately and the car that I can't get out of my head is a 69' AMC AMX, with the Big Bad package in green or maybe orange. It seems to me I could show up with the only one most of the time. I think the car has a cool look along with the two seater thing that none of the big three tried, definitly unique and the 390, 4 spd cars run pretty good. I'm sure my fellow Camaro guys did not expect to see AMC when this thread started but this has been heavy on my mind lately. Maybe you guys can get me thinking straight or let me know that there may be something to the ugly turn this car crazy sickness has come up with.
