Isn't that the former FAT STRIPE car? Did it go on a diet?
Man it totaly looks thinner with the new paint and "Skinnier" stripes. LOL J/K

Vince,

It is Lemans Blue. The flourescent lights seem to make it look maybe a half shade darker but it looks right in the sun.

BPOS,

Basicaly a stock 302 with Hookers, Holley 650 DP, M21, 3.73 12 bolt posi, factory style Chambered exhaust.

Nothing too fancy. I might even install the cast iron manifolds and hook up the smog pump too just for a few pictures.

The Houndstooth seats are redone and ready to bolt in.

Time is very difficult to come by lately but I will keep you all posted when I get it together.

That is my body guy's HOME SHOP He has an amazing collection of pristine shoebox 55-57 Chevies. Some are inside the house even. His first show car was a Brandywine 56 Chevy convert with a white top and interior with a chromed factory style fuel injection unit!!! That one is in his living room. WOW!

That looks GRRRREAT!!

By the way, what size tire are you runnning? I have 215 65s on my Z and I want to go to a bigger tire. Yours look really good.

Garfield,

He had it about 11 months total I think. I begged him to come out of retirement to do just one more car and he did. He started the work in his body shop last spring. I had exclusive use of the body shop for most of the work as the building was for sale and the business was shut down. The shop was later leased to another guy so he had me drive the car to his house where he finished the work in his home shop.

Daytona,

I am running 245/60/15" tires on all 4 corners. It is a tight fit. I will probably buy 235/60/15's next time.
