Painted mine original garnet red (GM#52) with black "z" stripes. Click the signature to have a peek... I had a hard time figuring out what color to paint it, but it's how it came from the factory. As I get older, me eyes aren't so good, so even burnished brown starts looking alright

Went to the painters today to check and verify the flame job on the car. Came back later after some clear was on it. Only got to peak because the fans were still on.. Paint almost looked black, but from what I could see it's sweeeet! Painter said he'll buff it out tomorrow and start reassembly.. May have it back on monday.

I talked to one of the guys that will probably help me paint my car. He was talking about laying down flames below the base coat. He said that normally you won't see the flames but they will show up in certain light. Has anyone tried this? Sounds pretty cool, but I'm a bit more conservative.

I am thinking about colors for my car too. I want something different. I am thinking about a light metallic gray with either dark gray or sliver strips. Not an easy decision.
