69 Camaro PUI black standard front seat covers, Bought from Ricks quite a while ago, installed the drivers seat, but did not like the small difference between the pleats and the original back seat. Would work great with a PUI back seat. Pass seat covers still new. $50 + ride

thanks!

Thanks for the info
I'm new to the Camaro site
I failed to mention I have headrest on the seats
Does this make a diff
The interior on my car is off
Rear is ivory (white)
Fronts were covered in leather and suede
Debating what to do
Build plate indicates a ivory color
Sorry to ask so many questions

With a 69, you better have headrests! They were a fed mandate :)

So with a white interior, you have to decide if you are going to stick with white or not. It all the rest of the interior is there and in good shape (white headrests, door and qtr panels, door edge welting), then you would be better off sticking with white. But if everything is in poor shape and you don't want white, then you will need to buy everything. These covers would be a start, the PUI rear covers and door panels you could pick up cheap.

When you put these covers on, you just cut a hole for the headrest (drivers side is already cut out). I took pics of the process and plan to post a "how to" for putting seat covers on.

Also, is your headrests curved or straight? Camaro Headrests - CRG Research Report I have black straight headrests that I was thinking about selling too, but they are going to be pricey :)

Wow seems like you really know your stuff

I have no door panels
I have the side rear panels again leather and suede in brown.
The rear seat is white
It is in very good condition.
Oh my headrest are the curved ones as you mentioned.
What's the diff between them ??
I've been told to paint the rear seats with vinyl paint and just do a black interior.
I really wanted to go the cars original trim but the car has so many other issues that the bulk money has to be spent on them
The seller removed the 350 4speed long gone and put in a 305/auto 200R4.
It's got a cam and runs good but again I will probably end up having to get a bigger motor.
Kinda whimpy with a 305 in a 69 Camaro.
This thing is even missing the headliner.
Thanks for your time and help with my dilema

Don't bother with the vinyl paint, much more difficult than putting a cover on!

no difference with the headrests besides the curve. Straight headrests were used to around Dec/Jan, then GM changed the design to curved, probably to get it close to the back of the head.

See if you can peel up a corner of the leather on the headrests, maybe the white underneath is still good enough to fix. Otherwise you need to recover them does not look the best or buy repro (big bucks!).

You need to update your profile, you never know when another member is close by that can help.

I've done a couple of seat covers 69 Mach 1, 73 corvette, 77 corvette and just did my 97 318ic front buckets.
They came out pretty good. Oh yes cushions were replaced under the brown.
You did say you were going to post the pics of you recovering them Let me know the link just in case I need reference.
Thanks for your time.
