After 14 months I finally got my body back with paint. A&R Restorations did the finish work and paint on my 68 coupe. After two weeks I am still awed by the perfect panels and paint. Now, the end is in sight. Every little thing I do is one step closer to finally driving it.
The pictures aren't the best. We were unloading it and trying to get out of the alley as quickly as possible.
The last two weeks have been a blast. It's a whole different feeling putting my baby back together.

Looks sharp. Is that Daytona Yellow ? Any stripes in the future ?

Congrats !
It's actually from a 2015 FRS Scion. I dig it. My first Camaro was almost this exact color.
No stripes now. Maybe later. Once assembled with chrome, tires, glass to accent the yellow it will really blend.
Anyone note the seams filled on the rear?

I did my 68 a yellow similar to yours this year- mine is called "screaming yellow" and boy is it a heard turner- seriously, people honk, wave and pull me over all the time to rave about it. I put black z-28 stripes and added the RS grill- mean looking car!! Good luck! Send me a number to text or an email, and I'll shoot ya a picture of it.

Yes sir. Looks great!

Wasn't easy to spot since everything is sooo perfect and shiny. I have been debating on welding mine solid and filling as well.

Car really looks phenomenal! Progress from here on out I imagine will be both exciting and super scary as not to chip that gorgeous paint job.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I remember looking at new paint pics way back. It keeps the dream alive.
I'm being soooo careful not to scratch. I don't even let visitors look at it very long. Just in case. :)

Wow! Certified statement! Cars that lively have a strange effect on people. They are compelled to touch it and stroke it! Train them to keep their hands in their pockets! Happy for you.

My daily driver is a 2002 Monte Carlo SS Pace Car, it's Daytona Yellow, the thing yer gonna notice about a yellow car in the Summer is all the Bees and other insects are attracted to it, I guess they think it's a big flower, I'll come out and have a thousand sweet bees trying to pollinate it on warm summer days lol.

Car looks great, brite yellow really does grab yer attention.

Looks like a very nice paint job. Curious why you filled the seems in the rear only?
