Anybody have a good pic of the hose set up for the distributor vacuum canister on the 302? Looking for how it is supposed to look and where the clip mounts. The assembly manual doesn't show detail.

Mark...I just went to check that, and the hole in the clip is big, like maybe it bolts to the intake. It definately doen't go to the divorce choke. The assembly manual shows no detail at all. I was hoping JohnZ could clear this up. I looked at a couple of his engine pics and I can't tell from them.

I'm in the process of finishing the small stuff on my 12 to 1 with -140 cam 302 and almost ready to install it in the car. I set the valves per your direction and everything worked out good. Keeping my fingers crossed when I get ready to fire it up.

It does go to an intake bolt. I would have to go look at mine to be sure which one, but I know it is one of the 2 center bolts on the pass side.
The 350/300hp is the same setup.

Thanks for the info. I figured it had to go in that area. It's the bolt left of the divorce choke. I don't plan on using my 4053 with what I have. I'll be using a Holley 4777 650 dbl pump and the fitting is out the passenger front, so I'm going to move the clip to the right of the choke so the metal tube will be closer to the front of the carb.

Thanks very much John for the pic. I plan on using a Holley 4777 for a bit and I moved that clip to the bolt in front of the crossover.
