Selling a 4l80e transmission. I purchased this tranny from Jake's Performance in April 2012. I installed in my 67 Camaro in June 2012. Has been in my Camaro ever since, but has low miles (approx. 200-300 miles) since I hardly ever drive my Camaro. I have had problems getting the TPS sensor to work with my Demon Carburetor since installation, so getting it to consistently shift at my desired shift points has been challenging to say the least. I am done spending time trying to get this to work, so I am moving on. Not sure what they go for now, but I'm motivated to sell so I can purchase another transmission. A live in North West Indiana, so if you are in driving distance and are interested let me know.

Why not just ditch your demon carb? I've had nothing but problems with the one I've had and I've heard they don't play nice with s lot of trans setups.

Thought about ditching the carb, but its really running well and I am not sold on the 4l80e. Its a very heavy transmission and I had a rough time installing a cross member and so far I have not yet gotten it to shift correctly (where I want it to shift), so I really had enough of trying to make it work.

Guess he decide to keep it... couple of e-mails back and forth gave up.

Hey Jack,
I also have a 4L80e I'm probably selling. I decided to go with a 5 speed most likely...

I still have the 4l80e if anyone is interested. It is rebuilt and comes with converter, dipstick and wiring pigtail.
