If you're like me, and like nostalgia, I think you will like these old drag pics of my camaro. Yes, that’s me driving. Nice hat huh? These were taken around 1980. These pics are also on my cardomain.com website.

Cool RamJam! I like it. I used to wear a black fidora in the 80's too. (It wasn't me, it was the decade.)

I wore one too with a black leather piece around it and had a little feather in the side. Blech

Yes Zman, Hate to say it but we are getting older. Since 80 is 24 yrs ago I'd say it's old enough to be nostalgic.

Stevo, Yeh those types of hats were the in thing. I got mine at the shore along with the big stuffed animals that were also envogue.

DanB, I didn't have one with a feather in it. You must have been in a higher class than me.

Going to Wildwood at that age, man did I have some good times. Which I really can't go into here.

BTW: I don't feel I was responsible for anything I did at that time I was only 19yrs old.

Around that time, I was ending my autocrossing with my 67 Camaro and beginning to Vintage Race the Lola.

Since we are all feeling old ... here is my 67 in about 1980 getting ready for a nice 10.70
pass. Jeeze, was it really 24 years ago

Ram,
I sold the 67 about 6 years ago Wish I had kept it now. No burnout pics, lucky I have these as I was usually the guy taking pictures. Around 1983 I painted it dark blue and had "Mr Bill" lettered on the side. Believe it or not, I cannot find a single picture of it with the lettering

Hey BillK,

Is that last picture with the Black 67 at 75-80 Dragway in Monrovia, MD? I spent most of my Friday nights in highschool at that track. To much fun. Broke alot of parts at that track.
