Didn't miss it by much b/c I was going to say it was at South Bend, IN!!!

When I was up there back in the early to mid '80's, a new car if not Zeibarted brand new would rust through so you could look through it in about 4 years if it was a daily driver!!

My Landlord bought a used Ford Maveric(Sp?) that he got for his Mom that pushed the shock towers through the hood after a while and it looked fine 50 feet away otherwise!!!!

Ah - that's not that bad...
Some fiberglass tape, a couple of JC Whitney brand 'Bondo' in the convienent Gallon Buckets, and lots of sandable primer and it would ready for a Black $300.oo Miracle paint job and a relisting on 'E-bain'...
You'd make some serious coin

Finding a numbers correct radiator is gonna be a b1tch though... :D

I'm sure glad I live out again... :waving:

I think it would be cool to do a HGTV garden special with a few rare muscle car hulks giving sanctuary to Mrs. Peabodys orchid collection. Then I could bare to watch that channel with the wife and log some quality time.

hey- it looks like the vin, cowl tag, and title are still in good shape. so the car is restorable, after all. just needs a "donor" car that has a good body is all...

I saw a mid 80's S10 blazer a few days ago, and the entire thing looked like the rear quarter of that Camaro. I was afriad to breathe on it thinking it would collapse on itself. A rare, horrifing sight here in OK.

But they probably bought it for 50 bucks, and it being an old S-10 probably still runs, lol.
