Yes, I ran with the Modified Street guys........had some very fortunate results...until the final.

Me and my car are no good on the .400 pro tree! Qualifying #1 was pure absolute luck....but it was fun. Nice bunch of folks! I had a blast.
The Suspension:
As far as I know, the bars I'm using were designed and built here in Oregon by by a stock class racer named Steve Hanby. I have no idea if it was actually his design, but he did build them. So you could look him up, he lives near Salem Oregon. That's what I did.
Mine actually came from a buddy who bought a 12 sec Camaro and they were on it. I made him a deal, I bought him a set of slapper bars, and traded him. The Camaro didn't need them at all. And I was tired of messing with Cal Tracks w/o any success.
I changed mine from the original design. I made new rear end mount plates that moved the bar forward so I could move the front pivot forward of the front spring eye. I didn't like the way the front mount welded to the flimsy front spring perch. Mine actually now mount to the sub frame connectors, a much stronger setup. And it moved the instant center....this might be good or it might be bad. On a good track it works very well.
What they are is a ladder bar that mounts where the original shock plate used to be on the bottom of the spring perch. Think of a Call Track but with 2 mount holes. The front of the bar slides in a tubular mount that pivots and originally mounted to the front spring perch. You have to keep the slider greased up real well. The setup doesn't bind. And can be pre-loaded like a conventional ladder bar.
As far as sharing pictures, since these are on the market and you can buy them....I think it should be ok to post them. I don't think they could be copied exactly from photos anyway. And since mine were built locally, and since mine aren't the stock setup, there are no secrets here.
The bad news is....I don't have a digital camera!
If you search this forum for posts by BPOS, he posted a pic of my car, and if you lighten the image, you can see the bars. No detail though.
BTW.....I didn't meant to start an argument.......
