:) That's right Sharon and I have been married 17 years as of the 27th. I set aside the day (could have had the rear disc's installed and the rearend back together) and went and got a haircut. Then went to the mall (I hate malls) and walked around looking at jewelery and watches. Found a cool card and then stopped at the food court and had lunch. Not a bad philly cheese steak sandwhich at that. I continue shopping (remember I hate malls) and strike up a conversation with a sales gal at this jewelery store. She shows me a couple watches in my price range and I buy the one I think Sharon will like and I'm on my way.

Now I'm deep in the center of this mall and not even sure if I'm walking it the right direction to get me back to the truck when this shall we call it urge sets in and nature calls in the worst way. I look around in a tight cheek panic and don't see any restrooms anywhere!! Ok, panic really sets in and I start walking. Hundreds of stores, no facilities to be found. I'm entertaining the thought of sitting down on one of the decorative flower pots and hoping I don't get arrested... Then this gal selling who knows what hits me with "can I show you....." I cut her off with where's the restrooms before I embarse myself... She gave me a quick "next right and the next left" I think I heard her say good luck as I rounded the corner... It all ended up ok but I won't be eating at the food court anytime soon and ya know, I think I hate malls even more now than ever before!!

Congratulations on your 17 years together!!! Thats quite the accomplishment these days, but if you want a REAL philly steak & cheese you have to go to Philia. :D

Happy Anniversary Dennis and Sharon!

Dennis, that is what internet shopping is for... :) you could have bought the watch and still got those rear disc's installed... remember you gotta keep both your ladies happy.... :D

Thanks all,

Uncle Buck - The internet is a cool way to shop but it has limits when you want to pay cash so the other half can't find out what you paid... Dan - You started a debate over who's the pill and who's the headache! IOU ;) lol... RS - the best sandwhich I ever had was the last time I was in PA visiting my dads side of the family. Jody and Mike (brand...) - it's all about not quiting or giving up when things get rough and reveling in the good time... But you both already know that! :beers: Mike (zuma...) me too!!

Thanks again all...

congrats Dennis and Sharon and Sue sends this along to Sharon, 'ask for anything you want and promise him any camaro parts he needs', works everytime :) our 26th anniv. is coming up Sept 8th. wonder what that chart says I need to buy her now?

Happy Anniversay,
Aug. 27 is our 11th. Anniversay, Was going to take my wife out for a nice dinner but she decided to include our 8 & 9 year old daughters and go out for a picnic, so we called my parents and they took their 47 Ford Coupe and we took the 69 Camaro and went to a state park for the afternoon. Was a real nice drive and seen several people enjoying their older cars also.

AW CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats Dennis! You just reminded me today is my 18th (this time). I left the card in my dresser drawer. Seems upon my return home yesterday, "we" have a dead stinky something in the chimney. Been dealing with that since last night and this am. No wonder I forgot about my card (not the anniversary). Spent the weekend celebrating an aunt and uncles 50th. Good ole family get together. Anyway, best of the day and years to come to both of you.

Carl - that depends on just how intimate you get with the car... ;) I thought the events described might be a bit much, but the relief of the successful adventure was far less embarassing than the other possibility which I wouldn't have been able to share...

To all you others with anniversarys congrats too... Codi - Just throw some big logs in the fireplace and call it a BBQ and invite the neighbors over. Just don't let them see you eating Mc Donalds after serving everyone... ;)

Congrates to you and the 'misses' Dennis

Wishing you both another 17+ :beers:

I put the framed copy of our wedding announcement just to the left of our front door - I have to see it everytime I leave the house... :D
The misses thought it was romantic, and I haven't missed one yet :clonk:
