The other day I was in a local parts store and a lady came in and asked for a seven ten cap.
The service guys looked back and forth at each other in confusion and asked, “What is a seven ten cap? You know its right there on top of the engine. Mine got lost and I need a new one.” replied the woman.
“What kind of car do you drive?” asked one of the guys, thinking this may shed some light on the perplexing problem. “A Buick” replied the woman.
So the parts guy asked, “Well, how big is it?” The woman made a circle with her hands about 3 1/2 in. and said “about this big”
Handing the woman a note pad they asked her if she could draw a picture of it. So from the other side of the counter she drew a circle and wrote the numbers “710” in the middle. Seeing the picture upside down the salesmen immediately busted into laughter, because the answer was now instantly clear.
