I have an 87 Iroc 305, with a new radiator, new hoses, new t-stat, new water pump, but fans are spinning backwards when they turn on, so no air hits the radiator when i'm at idle ....... ? any help ...... thanx

Any DC fan like that will run backwards if the polarity is reversed.

Did you change any wiring? Or maybe put the plug in backwards?

I had a blue 87 iroc "back in the day" lol Are the fans something you just now installed? If so, you need to check the wiring. If they are stock from the factory, I don't see how they could just start spinning backwards out of the blue like that

Hey guys i have solved the problem ...... thanx for all the input, what i did was .... i swithced the positive and negative cables around that were going directly to the fan .... and it worked: the fan spun clockwise and there is no more heating up on my iroc..... thanx for all the feedback ..
