Ya I think that DjD is out of control!! Why does he think he should stop one group of guys from telling another group what they can do on this site (stop starting new threads)?

It was really outragious that he would even think of spending time this weekend cleaning up all the threads on the same subject and sharing those thoughts with the membership!

He must think all the off topic food comments are guys trying to tell the topic starter and others they don't want to hear it! Don't know where he gets that idea!!

Just who does he think he is? Just because it says administrator under his name doesn't mean he should be trying to keep things running smoothly. After all this place would be so much better if we all were allowed to flame, insult and tell each other what to do and where to go!!

Would you care for some grey poop-on your hotdog? :D

Geez......

I like the site the way it is. The mods keep this place civil. Love it or Leave it!

Thanks for all the hard work Dennis
As I've been able to meet members of this site face-to-face, and come to know their experiences, background and their beliefs, I have come to value their opinions when offered.
Not having the pleasure of meeting others, and not knowing the above, I sometimes wonder why they would feel it necessary to offer a personal view that may not be in context with the sites needs, to promote the knowledge and facts, concerning our Camaro's.
I do understand this as why you feel it necessary to have to moderate some threads.
If someone wants to tell me a certain part or supply is available from a certain retailer - that's a good thing in my book. If they want to tell me why I should or shouldn't support a certain retailer - that's not-so-much , I'll decide those things myself...

I really only need to see info I can use on this board - I go to "rants" on 'craigslist' for the other...

I'll buy you a hot-dog with whatever you want on it on Sat. :D

As always - JMHO's;

grey poop-on has no business on a hot dog. Hot dogs require yellow mustard, along with chopped onoins, relish, a dill pickle spear, and a couple of sport peppers for flavor.

And no, I'm not poking sport at Dennis's (needed much too often) efforts to keep the site close to ontrack, simply stating a culinary fact, chicago style!

For at least this week, I'm giving up on the "new posts" button, and manually trolling those forums of interest.

The new 5th gen forum is a great idea, and if used, will help a lot.

For me personally, it's good to have a site like this one that actually has guidelines and enforces them.

There are some other boards out there that are totally out of control with flaming, uncensored cursing, and bashing of members.

We need mods to clean up the aisles from time to time.

Thanks Al, and to all the mods for a "safe haven" to discuss what we all love = Camaros.

The only way to go is with a slaw dog, hit it with yellow mustard then pile on the slaw!!

Why does Bugs bunny walk around the cartoon naked, but puts a bathing suit on when he goes swimming?

If a Man is talking in the forest and there is no woman there to hear him, is he still wrong?

Why do grocery stores buy so many checkout line registers if they only keep 3 or 4 open?

Who was the first person to look at a cow and say, "I think I'll squeeze these dangly things here and drink what comes out"?

Pdq, do not go. You are the only reason I am still considering an actual 327 for my 67.

‘New’ Camaro threads were getting started in every other forum. (I like the 5th gen forum.) The 20th one got the chilidog treatment. Thus DJDs post.

Hebrew National makes a fine dog! I like a few different types; chili dog, Chicago dog, etc. But I also had an uncle who worked at a meat packing plant when I was young...I don't seem to eat that many any more :D

Dano
p.s. PDQ, Get outta yer slump and stop being sensitive! We don't want you to go! You gave me great advice on my 327 and it turned out super!

Amen!!! Stick around, Paul, we love you and we'd miss you!

How 'bout turn off the distractions and get that 496 running for us?

With the exception of this post, that's what I'm doing from now on here.
There's enough great material to read.
And with hundreds of users on here, sometimes the last thing we need is ANOTHER opinion.
At least not mine :D
