I just finished a front end rebuild on my '67 SS/RS. I bought the polygraphite super front end kit and polygraphite subframe kit from PST. The front end kit was labor intensive but straight forward. I ran into two problems with the subframe refit. I had a whale of a time removing the original bushings from the middle mount points on each side. The subframe would not drop down far enough for me to reach in and remove the originals. My neighbor helped me with the aid of a pry bar at the front mount points. Luckily, no damage or injury. The other item worth mentioning, is that the bushing for the front right mount (under the battery) was too big for the mount hole. I looked at both bushings to see if they were sized differently -- no luck there. I resized the hole with a dremel tool and did some grinding on the bushing collar to solve a 2.5mm mismatch. I gave some feedback to PST on this. No words back yet.

Results are good; huge increase in lateral control and perfect sporty ride for me. I did some reading and measurment work to effect a good allignment and that worked out well too. The only casualty of this project is that I washed my mechanic clothes with my cell phone still in the pocket. How's that for a one track mind.
