Thanks!!! LOL - I've been getting quite a few emails for me to end the auction early.
Also a few questions about the black gas tank (The original owner had the Zebart rust treatment when new). I guess that is why the car is so well preserved. (i didn't notice it untill someone asked??)

A few resale car dealers have offered me a little bit more than it is at right now. I told them I would lower my reserve to their amount ($25,500), and they should bid. I would accept that price if the market determines it, but that I won't end early and sell it for that price.

So at least I know it is going to sell (I hope the high bidder actually buys it this time.)
Seems everyone is waiting till the end of the auction now.
You should keep your reserve where it is now. If it doesn't sell try other resources. Ebay is a coin toss at best. Have you tried www.collectorcartraderonline.com ? An excellent resource. If mine does not sell in the next couple of weeks, I will advertise there. You just have to be patient. You car is priced right, sometimes it just takes a little while to find the right person. Good Luck.

Yeah that sounds like a great deal. Trade a classic car that will be worth 20% more in 5 years for a car that will be worth 50% less in 5 years.

That is fine.
What sucks is that three or four dealers were after the car. One offered me $25.5 to end early. No one bid. The one dealer guy lost the car for $38.

This eBay buyer asked a bunch of questions, was a carefull shopper.
Although they never called me either??? (I still don't get that???)

Lots of emails from other people asking to buy the car if it didn't sell.
They all wanted to buy it to sell it for more.

It is a really nice car, and I'm glad it is going to a collector.
The car really is everything I say it is, the new owner will be very happy.
Very solid driver - turn the key and go.

I'm happy too -- my 63 Corvette has been sitting in a trailer at my friends house for 4 months now. That is the one I drove all the time. Missed it.

Lets hope this time it follows through to the delivery.
Thanks for all the support.

RECEIVED THE DEPOSIT - THIS IS GOING WELL.
