Happy Father's Day to all
This year was a difficult one because my wife is in the hospital. I did not have the usual cards and nice dinner nor did I get
the look. I did spend some quality time with my kids and spent some time playing with one of my cars.
Took the nine year old to the salvalge yard after lunch to look at a car I saw 12 years ago to see if it still survived. It was there but now has a tree fallen on it. Not much just a X44 but still has some goddies.
The real thrill of the day was when I came across a box marked RS wiper motor and found the wiper motor (605 with squirter, sticker, hoses etc!)from my convertable. I thought that it was long gone but there it was I could not belive my eyes. I even purchased one years ago thinking that this one got lost in a move. Now, I have to find the one I purchased and see what it fetches...........
So, it turned out to be a great fathers day even without cards or cake.... still thinking if the
the look would have kept me from finding the wiper motor.........what we sacrafice for our cars.....
