Hello everyone. I am new to the site. I am a member of Chevelles.com which I think is partners with this site.

I just traded my beautiful 72 Chevelle SS clone for what I consider my favorite car. A 1970 split bumper RS. Hugger orange w/black stripes, 17" Torque Thrust. With a built 454. Cant wait to post pics of it for everone. 67, 68 and 69's are cool but the 70 thru 73 have always been my favorite. Thanks for listening

glad to hear you came to your senses!
be nice dawg!! I had a 69 Chevelle that was actually a nicer car than my Camaro, but I used it as a stepping stone to get the ultimate. Chevelles do have a purpose!!!

Welcome 1960lespaul!!!:waving:

Run me off !? You guys with your first gens have to catch me first :D

1960lespaul: Mine is similar (in color and RS) to yours. Dont worry about these guys. They have severe 2nd gen envy, they just dont know it yet ;)

All kidding aside, I'm mostly a 1st gen guy, but well aware of the 2nd gen (and A-body) advantage :p

Sweet 70!! Hey Dave............ya got a brother!!! Nice Chevelle, I love the parchment interior. My 69 SS396 had parchment interior. Loved it but a pain to keep clean. Always cool inside though.

Welcome to the site - nice car. I've developed a sence of appreciation for 2nd gen cars over the past couple of years and have grown to really like that split fron bumper version.

So, is there a 1960 Les Paul in your collection too?

Its a 1960 Reissue from about 1993 I think. Ultra slim neck in Transparent red loaded with EMGs. Go to Gibson's site and look for the classic series.
