I am trying to line up my fenders and I am having problems...so what I did was leave the inner support brackets loose so that I had some room to move the fender around and get it in place and then tighten it all down. The only problem is that I cant get at the bolts to tighten these brackets down once the fender is on. IS there a way to properly place these brackets so they are in the correct position? There is a lot of play with thesee inner brackets, and I am not sure exactly where these should be placed. These are the brackets up by the firewall that the inner fender attach to. This is on a 68 Camaro. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Are you saying you left them loose where they bolt to the firewall? If so, I'd tighten them at the firewall, and then take up any adjustment where the three bolts go through the inner fender to the bracket. Your inner fender has large holes for adjustment, and the bolts use fender washers that cover the large holes regardless of the location.
