Need a little help trying to find a common A/C part, so common in fact that eveyone I ask say's "yea I had one lying around but I threw it out" What I need is the A/C hose that connects right beside the compressor and goes under the firewall to connect to the condensor. I don't need the hole manifold assembly. My assembly was cut and spliced with a feruel fitting right at the compressor. I don't think my A/C system is going to work anyways but I would like it to atleast appear as so. I have a good picture of exactly what I need if someone could post it. I know I can buy the hole thing new but I don't want to spend the money on it for a system that probably wont work. If anyone has one "lying around" and would like to part with it cheap or free? I need it.

Trak your post said "goes under the firewall to connect to the condensor" so my first view was also confusing, you mean "goes under the radiator support" right? I think thats what hhott was confused about. if Mark's doesnt work you can visit www.oldairproducts.com they have all the a/c parts too.

I appologize, I did mean the radiator support, My bad! Mark's will not work because it's not for a 1969. I really trying to not spend $150.00 for the complete assembly because I'm not to sure any of my A/C parts are good I just want it to look complete.

Mark, Thank you very much I may just take you up on that offer. Do you or anyone else know if that side of the line is the high pressure side? I'm leaving Monday AM for the Cape when I get back I will be in touch. Thanks again

Yes, that's the high pressure side. Looks like the hose was cut probably to get the condenser out and put back together with a peice of aluminum tube and two hose clamps. Thats the way they used to repair the hoses, and it even has the correct HVAC hose clamps (the ones with the little tab sticking off the side of the clamp) on it. I've never used it, it came with a compressor I bought.
