Were 15 x 8 factory rallys available with only a 4" back space or did they go on any applications to a 4 1/4 or 4 1/2? If they did, does anyone know the 2 letter code? Thanks

From everything I can tell 4" was it for the 8" width wheel. Im in the middle of determining what size slick to run at the track. Tried a Hoosier 28x9.0x15 on a 15x8 rally. Looks like it will rub on the quarter panel under a good load/suspension compression. The tire has a section width of 11.0" and is just too big. I then took numerous measurements today and looks like I'll have to go with a Mickey Thompson 26x8.5x15 on a 15x7 rally. They have a section width of 9.5" which will give me sufficient margin on each side. That slick should still hook better than the 215/65 BFG TA's! Please excuse the rambling.

You can get repo's from Jeg's in 4", 4.5" and 5". $72.00 each. I just got their latest catalog this week.

Thanks for the info. One thing about the repros (i bought a pair) is that the center section does not look like an original rally wheel. I returned those and sent out two 15x8 original rally wheels to have the backspacing changed to 4 1/2. Cost was 60 per wheel. I will dig out the name of the place if anyone is interested
