I'm restoring a '67 camaro with factory front disc brakes and need to have the front calipers rebuild. Anyone know who to use ??? Anyone ever done them ??. Approximate cost ??? Any details greatly appreciated.

thanks much

Stainless Steel Brakes Corp. Near Buffalo, N.Y. Had them do 4 for my Vette. Best to have them sleeved for sure. If you look in a Vette magazine, You'll see quite a few adds as this is a common problem.

My wife sent my calipers to Vette Brakes, and the bill was 98 per side. Sleeved with all new hardware and painted cast iron. Also included removing and installing bleeder screws which were stripped and rusted in the calipers. Shipping I think was about 35 bucks. Cheap in my opinion for a lifetime warranty.

I just contacted Vette Brakes for the same thing (4 piston re-build) and they quoted $159 ea. plus $10 handling charge!!!??? Way more than the $98 Scot said above. Do you have an in, Scot??

My wifes bill says $240 to my door. Figuring in about 30 for shipping and it comes out right. Calipers were done last November.
