When I removed the bottom section of the rear seat in the Firebird today, I found the broadcast sheet. Though it's a Pontiac the sheet had "chev" printed along the edge. Also stapled to the carpet at the seam under the passenger seat was the date tag "9-11-68". My trim tag says 03-A, so it shows how long the carpet was stocked. Have pictures if anyone is interested. The rear is dated 2-12-69.

Nashcar, where in the seat was it? Under the top cover, or between the springs or ???
The sheet was neatly placed in the springs on the passenger side. It was not folded. I tested a corner with a very soft brush and was able to clean off the dust. It is in excellent condition. This is the second one I've found, the other was on top of the gas tank of a 79 Vette. That one was in worse condition being more exposed to moisture.
