Just curious to know what folks on here do for a living. I know that some peoples profiles list their occupation but even that is vague. So, what do ya do to make the money to pay for the toy(s)? Be specific if you can... ie not just "im in the computer business" Just thought it would be interesting to know. I'll start: Im in medical sales. I sell operating room based products that surgeons (mostly urologists) use in the O.R. Spend time both selling to the urologist and working with them in the Operating Room.

I'm 65, retired 3 1/2 years ago, spent quite a few years as a tool and die maker, also about 20 years in nuclear plants in radiation protection.

Mainly work on my 1969 chevelle, plan on making some money on it, but that remains to be seen, also spend 4 to 5000 hours a year on four different car forums.

I'm a police officer in a town named Delmar. The town is split down the middle by the state line of Maryland and Delaware so our officers have to be cerified cops in two states since we works both sides of town. It is a very unique situation and believe it may be the last municipality in the country to have a dual jurisdiction.

I own and run two companies, Bird Barrier makes bird deterrent systems to help property managers keep their buildings poop-free (airplane hangars, office buildings, food processing plants, etc.), www.birdbarrier.com. I also run a nationwide distributor of window cleaning products for professional window cleaners (squeegees, buckets, soaps, ropes, safety equipment, etc.). www.jracenstein.com. Having lots of fun, not a lot of time for the car, but making progress.

In my younger days I was a male prostitute.:noway: Now I am an electrician in Local 481. Indianapolis, IN. Most days I enjoy my job very much. My foreman had three 69's, two at one time. A 327, SS 396, and this kills me. He had a Z/28 crossram he traded for a brand new four cylinder mustang off the showroom floor. He drove the mustang for one weekend and then tried to get the Z back. The salesman bought the car, and kept telling my foreman " The car is not for sale." This happend in I think 1978 so do not totally freak out. The same guy still owns the car.

I am an electrican also. I work on a deepwater offshore oil/gas platform in the GOM out of Louisiana. I take care of the Medium voltage 4160 solar turbine driven generators and all electrical maintenance. I work 12 hour shift on an 14 day on / 14 day off rotation. Basically I work 5-1/2 months a year. The bad part is being away from the family. Been doing it for 29 years. I dont see how I could do a 5/2 work schedule. I love my 14 days off.
