They are asking $22,500 Firm

Let me know what you think

1968 Camaro Sport Coupe - This Camaro is all original and numbers matching. It is also a very rare high optioned car that has only 92k original documented miles. To start off with we have lots of paperwork and receipts including the original dealer invoice listing all its options. This car is an original Ralley Green car that has many rare, hard to find options including air conditioning, power windows, power steering, power brakes, tilt wheel, electric clock in console, deluxe houndstooth interior w/fold down rear seat, and posi traction rear axle w/3:08 gears just to name a few. It is a 327ci/235hp that is numbers matching and runs perfectly. We have receipts for a rebuild. The automatic trans also works perfectly and shifts firm. It has new Flowmaster exhaust and a Pioneer AM/FM/CD/Equalizer. The body is straight and clean and is extremely solid with super nice floors and trunk. The Ralley Green paint looks awesome, show quality. The steel cowl hood is the only non original part on the whole car. The deluxe houndstooth interior is perfect including the rare fold down back seat. All the power windows function properly and pretty much everything works (i.e. lights, wipers, etc). This is one of those rare hard to find Camaros that you just can't believe you have found so don't let this one get away. It's bound to gain value even while you read this.

Hank the paper says for a '64 impala, the 327 was either 210 or 275 hp not 235 as they state... That gives enough reason to be suspicious. Add to that the claim that the hood is the only non-orig part on the car, not likely IMO... It looks like a very nice car but I would give it a very good visual inspection in person and validate the vin and cowl tag info to prove the numbers matching engine claim. IMO (again) I think it's an assembled car meaning all the options were rounded up and installed when the car was restored not from the factory...

Price is just a touch high but the car is at a dealer so that is to be expected. Inspection, inspection, inspection... It very well could still be a cream puff, just don't let your guard down.

nice car. is it me or does it have RS reveal trim on the door/quarter window edges?

I think the panel alignment is bad all over.
Missing side markers indicate quarters and fenders have been replaced.
If they didn't bother with a minor thing like marker lights, where else did they cut corners?
Do not buy this car without a full inspection in person. If don't know what to look for, bring someone with you who does.
