I have yet to find an RPO item in the AIM I couldn't figure out by the drawings in it. Maybe it comes easy having been reading prints and drawings all my life...

Jim look on page 477 if your AIM has page numbers hand written in like mine does. If not it's almost the very back of the book RPO Z87 A1. It's very clear in my copy...

In my opinion the AIM is way overrated. I have one, and most of the time when I look at the pic I know less than when I started:) It is nice to have sometimes, but it's usefulness is very limited.
It is very useful for alot of things though!:beers:

I used it to put my 69 back together and I took it all apart myself. Memory fades after awhile.

The A.I.M. organization is really pretty simple if you work with it regularly (like I did for decades); the first half (UPC Groups - Uniform Parts Classification) covers all the parts released for a "base car" (no options), as follows, with an index sheet at the front of each section that shows which items are on which sheets in that section:

0 - General Information, Stickers, Sealers, Adhesives, Shipping List
1 - Body and Trim
2 - Frame
3 - Front Suspension
4 - Rear Suspension and Driveline
5 - Brakes
6 - Engine
7 - Transmission & Clutch
8 - Fuel & Exhaust
9 - Steering
10 - Wheels & Tires
11/13 - Front Sheet Metal & Radiator
12 - Electrical
14 - Bumpers & Miscellaneous

The second section is all the options, arranged in RPO alpha-numerical order (A31 through Z87, etc., with an index sheet at the front of each option).
