For 29 years I worked for a highway construction company and worked my way to the top. Then progress came, we were bought out and myself and 70 others were laidoff. Now I'm into repairs , additions, remodling and new construction. It is a nice change of pace.

Recently retired Mfg. Manager with the number one earthmoving company in the world after 40 years. Everyday is a weekend! :hurray: :beers:

Machinist for 20 years.
Learning how to use this cool new crankshaft balancer we just got although we don't balance crankshafts.
I usually grind and polish 20 ton press rolls on this huge cylindrical grinder , and occasionally sneak over to my desk and check the Team Camaro site and don't tell me you guys don't do the same at work

I love Fleet Farm !
Do the Fleet Farm chicks where you are wear the tight black pants and orange shirts ?
Where else can you get a Carhartt jacket , a rifle scope , hydraulic oil for the tractor and a 60 lb. bag of beef jerky all in one store ?

I work on offshore oil drilling rigs. Been doing it since I got out the Army in 1990. Been working the overseas part of it since 1998, and have been working back in Brasil since 2004. (I worked here in 2000-2001)
I work 28 days, off 28 days. Still doesn't give much time to work on the car, as I have 2 girls and a wife, a big place to try to keep up, I maintain 9 cemeteries (no one else seems to care) and work with my father on the side.
Never seem to have enough time.

Airline pilot for the largest regional airline in the U.S. I captain a Bombardier CRJ-700. Fun job, most of the time, but some months I fly the equivalent of twice around the globe. After that, you go home, lay your head on a pillow and your bed needs right rudder trim!

I am a pharmacist in the Boston area. I go around to nursing homes and review the medications of the elderly residents to try and keep them healthy and out of trouble. I also play in a rock band and turn wrenches whenever I can!

I am a Mechanical Engineer. I presently work in Design and Product Development for Randy's Ring & Pinion. Ya know, Axles, differentials, gears and the like.

Before this present position I was an Electronic Fuel Systems Engineer and developed electronic fuel injection and ignition systems for general aviation piston engine aircraft. I designed everything from speed sensors, wiring harnesses, throttle bodies, to aircraft quality fuel injectors.

They are both fun areas to work in.

I am currently a IBEW Journeyman High Voltage Lineman in distribution anything from 120 volts to 23,000 volts.....Hurricanes in FLA. have wore me out....but it makes car parts money :) ... was before a Bare-Hand Lineman in Transmission where I have worked 500,000 volts sitting on a wire energized. A long time ago a certified welder, also been an Ironworker out of LU 808 ............ Take Care Guys................Alan

To pay the bills, I'm a System/Server Administrator. I have about 15 servers that I am in charge of for an engineering research company.

To pay for car stuff and to keep the wife from complaining about the car, I drive a wrecker on the weekends to make "play money" :)

Two TOTAL different job styles right there.

I am a VP Financial Consultant @ Charles Schwab. I am currently working to pay for my car projects, hahahaha....

Plus I have a 9 month old son to take care of :)
