Which bumper to run?

I have a 69 RS/SS and the car has no bumper.How can I tell which one it takes?Chrome or Enduro.

It depends on how big of a hole you want in your wallet…

So both bumpers will fit the car.

I hear the aftermarket enduras do not fit too well. Anyone have first hand experience?

Either will work. You will need the appropriate bumper brackets as they differ.

Rick is right on the brackets being different but I would add that the bumper jack hook is different as well. The story I have heard about the endura bumpers is that the originals will fit very flush with the body while the repro fits more like the chrome bumper with a bit more gap. I like the chrome setup myself but it is just an opinion.

The original endura bumpers are usualy rusted internaly and the cost including the brackets and bumper jack load rest will put a big hole in your wallet. Repro is repro.
