Hi all, I've got a 69 Z body restoration that I'm doing and have a few questions on seamsealer. Did the trunklids on these cars have any seamsealer from the factory other than where the four corner holes are filled? I remember seeing a few that had seam sealer brushed along the rear seam but they might not have been factory applied. The doors get no sealer right? Hood none? Door opening jamb where the quarter meets the rocker? The floor of the car need to be seamsealed from the inside but nothing on the outside?

I need to get this stuff right, any help would be appreciated. The car was completely stripped before it was brought here so I have nothing for reference. Some photos if anybody has a link would be great. Thanks, Bob

Not sure if 100% correct but I seam seal all of them... except the hood, I put tape down on both sides to make a nice seam and put a thin coat of sealer on. Also I don't seal the 4 holes in the deck lid as thats the water drains.... decklids with pluged holes will be rusty at the back corners
