Harley I hope this takes care of you problems. I finally fixed my 01 Dodge Ram this week to when I traded it in on an 04 LS1 6 spd GTO for my wife. The vast majority of Dodge truck owners I know or have met all have to rebuild their transmissions before they hit 100K miles. Chrysler has a real problem with these transmissions. One co-worker has had his rebuilt 3 times by 88,000, another twice by 80,000. My problems started at 60,000, the Chrysler dealer couldn't fix it, although they tried several times, throttle position sensor, govenor solenoid, many test drives where they didn't see a problem. At 84,000 it completely failed. Since Chrylser dealer was so poor here I took it to a local transmission shop that has a good reputation here. They rebuilt it and I had it back 3 times and they could never make it work right. It wasn't just the transmission, there were so many things failing on this Ram by 90,000 miles that I just couldn't keep up with it, some were major, many were just minor.
Needless to say I've bought my last Chrysler product. Next truck will be a Chevy or Ford, I've had great luck with both products.
I joke that the VW beetle guys give the peace sign to each other when they meet on the road, the Corvette guys wave or give a thumbs up, the Dodge Ram crowd we just hold the number of fingers to indicate to each other the number of times that we've had to rebuild our transmissions!
Seriously though good luck and I hope that this solves your problems.
