Feedback after MSD digial 6/blaster ss install

Hey guys I just put in my msd digital 6 box with the blaster SS coil both mounted on the fire wall. I noticed that there is feedback coming from the dash somewhere... I think its the old speaker up in the dash that I dont have hooked up?? any ideas how to stop this feedback or what is causing it?

If the speaker isn't being used, put a shorting pin accross it's leads close to the speaker. If your ignition box is causing interference with a speaker in free air, you've got a hellova field around it.

Those ignition boxes have an oscillator in them to help them generate a high frequency spark. Perhaps your hearing an acoustical vibration from it's internal parts. Have you ever had a TV that would make a high pitched whine? Transformers and inductors often would vibrate at the 15Khz switching frequency and make a very annoying sqeal that dogs and humans could hear.
