So let me ask then... Who are you?
Don't answer that man... they'll come to your house, break your knees, and put wing windows on your daily driver! (and before you yell at me, I like wing windows, I'll add a 67 to my garage some day.)

Do what ever you want with the wing windows, it's YOUR car not anyone elses, Personally I don't care for the wing windows and I love to see new mods on a first gen. Makes them unique and sets them apart from everyone else.

There was a 1967 Camaro for sale last year in the North Burbs of Chi-town. It looked decent. Paint was Lemans Blue I think. The car had a 454 and guess what? It also looked like it had 1968 doors. Yes I am 100% certain the car was a 1967 with 1968 doors because I called on it. The car was at a used car/classic car dealer.

Maxemus, don't let the jokes bother you. I like wing windows but if you don't that's perfectly ok....There are some features on cars and their drive-trains that I like which others give me grief over. Don't sweat it.

Good Luck with your car!!

don't forget to add a fully functional cowl induction hood setup just to really get the purists going.
and maybe put the 69 style tail pipes on it, too...

I want to eliminate the vent window by putting 68 doors on. The hinge bolt pattern is three on a 67 and four on the 68. Has anyone done this? Is it possible to rebuild the hinge using the separate halves and mount up?
There are a few 67's out there without wing windows, so it can be done. When I have seen it, it's usually on a parts car slapped together or an unfinished project, so I am not sure how it's done right.
Before you fit 68 doors on a 67, consider what you plan on using for the door panels, because the two are not interchangable.
If you want a stock 67 interior with no wing windows, it may be easier to put a 68 window assy in a 67 door.
Please keep us updated on your progress, as no one really seems to have a solid answer as to how it's done best.

Look at the guts in the door. I bet it all changes out or can be made to with much less modification.

I am all for do it your way, I am also a wing window fan and would not remove them myself but it is your Camaro.

I say do the mods inside the door because if you want to put it back it's easy to change back.

You said your selling it possibly for a profit. The person that buys it may want to put it back the way it was and if mods are made to the pillar area you might be loosing money or potential buyers. One mans vision and expense of modifying cars if being sold for profit are only going to make what some one else sees as a good investment or the basis of their own project or what they can do to make it theirs.

Here is my 67 back from paint with no wing windows but they are going back in it. From what I can tell you should be able to install 68 innards in the door.

Now for my color, that's just what I am talking about. I am into owning my 67 for the long haul. It will only changes hands when I die and it will go to my daughter that loves it more than I do. I know some people have a real problem with the color and if I ever did go to sell it I would have to find somebody that likes the color as much as I do. It's so bright you better like attention be cause it sure gets it.

I say do it your way, just don't screw it up for someone else if your going to sell it by doing mods that can't be fixed or can't be fixed with out a major surgery is all I am saying.........just my opinion though and you know what they say about those.

I have a 69, so this is pure speculation....but could you remove the hinge pins and mix and match;use the jamb half from the 67 and the door half from the 68?
The 67 lower hinge is a 67 only animal. It's cast and very Stout part. It's not even close to the 68-69 lower hinge. I don't see that working. I bet it would with the uppers though.
