68-74 AM/FM radio

Just curious what these are worth?

Is the picture of the one showing actually a real AM/FM radio from that time (68-74) for a camaro or like vehicle?

Doesn't look like any 69 Camaro radio I've seen. Can't say on the other years or Nova's.

That radio was not used until sometime in the 70's. Definately not a 67-69 Camaro radio.

Interesting... Someone was trying to sell it to me for $90 saying it was for 68-74 Camaros, Novas, and Chevelles. I guess I won't be buying it.

Not to hijack your thread KaBar but since we are talking about an AM/FM radio for a 1st gen can anyone tell me if the radio in my 69 Camaro is correct for 69? My reception is non existant so I was thing about replacing the antena first then maybe upgrading the complete system. Right now all I have is AM/FM indash radio and the dual indash speakers. Thanks

Old Man, yours is almost for sure a 69 AM/FM (worth a lot). It might be a 70, you would have to take radio out or find the numbers to be sure. It is worth getting it repaired.

I will probably need to send the radio out to have it looked over, is there a reputable place that people have used and had good experiences with? Thank you

I've never dealt with this guy, but his feedback is excellent. Might be worth a call. He says he will repair your system.
