i got a 98 z28, does anyone know if the currier and ring and pinon set out of a 94-97 v-6 model will fit into my 98, i'm not sure if the axle's are the same or not, but the v-6 model has drum brakes and i wanna keep the aftermarket axle's and disk brakes that's on the 98, just the ring and pinon are shot. plus anyone know what the ring set size could be for the v-6 model, mine came stock with a 3.73 and i don't wanna put a 3.07 in it

I don't think the rears are the same, a V6 probably has a 10 non posi where you Z28 has a 10 bolt posi. Yours didn't come from the factory with 3:73's, if that's what you have someone changed them out. An automatic would of come with either 2:73's, 3:08's or 3:23's, most 6 speeds came with 3:42's.
