I'm trying to figure how much a factory power-window setup (complete) would fetch? I'm looking to buy a friend's 69 which has factory power windows and a deluxe interior that I don't want or need. The delux interior itself has seen better days. So my question is how many 69's received Power Windows at the factory and anyone want to guess what they are worth in good or better condition, complete?

Thanks,
G.

Option A31 and 3058 69 camaros recieved that option (CRG). I have seen them go for between $400 and $800 depending on switch condition and working motors.

if you want to sell the power window set-up for $800

call me!!!

pm me!!!!!

Thanks guys - I appreciate the feedback. I had heard everything from $1000 - $2500. The point about the Firebird option being the same part numbers makes sense. I guess ultimately it's whatever someone is willing to pay for them.

$800-$1800.......yes....

2500? no.........

sombody would really need to have them

jim at heartbeat city usually sells a complete set w/ new harnesses for about 1500...and he is usually not the cheapest...
he has gone up a lil maybe $1650-$1950 for a power window set up

I'm going to keep mine too :) I want to be able to sit in the seat of my SS (when done) and hit the switch to lower the top, lower all the windows and cruise without getting out and walking around the car like I do on the 327 car :D

yes,factory power windows are nice!

both my camaro's have them.....

If anyone has a spare set i can use them for a convert , not looking to steal them will pay going rate.
try heartbeat city......

around $1650-$1950 complete

get him to throw in all new wiring harnesses
breaker
new switches

and you will be set......

I thought I'd chime in on this subject. Over the years I've picked up 7 of the original PW setups. All of them needed some if not complete restoration. problems such as bad wiring, corroded switches, cracked or missing rollers on the regulators and broken connection on the motors. Expect some of these problems on $400-$600systems. Complete cleaning and re-lube of the gearing on the motors is a must. Recently I picked up a repop set to install in my latest project; 69 conv. I'm hoping for a better performance system. $900 plus shipping. The factory stuff operated slower than what I like. They all operated about the same when done. It's gonna be awhile but I'll post my opinion. Keep in mind the "67 front regulators will not fit '68, '69 or visa versa. The '67 front vent windows were one year only. From experience. Gary
