i dont have a vinyl top on mine. but on my camper i got a vinyl awning.use it as a car wash.with a sponge or brush depending on dirt in it.safe for camper or regular car paint also.it is call kamper clean vinyl cleaner.works great .
There will probably be some that don't like the idea, but if it were mine, I'd use 303 protectant.
The same stuff we use on the boat's vinyl.
Cleaners, and protectants.
havin fun the stuff i use. it is called camper cleaner. spray on wipe off. cleans rvs, boats ,cars, trucks, black streaks, road tar, tree sap, vinyl seats, paneling, dashboards. it took all the waterline off my boat when i bought it 2 years ago from a guy who sat it in a marina for 5 years.
303 protectant is all I use on the exterior of my details. It works great on the dash and other interior parts that see the sun.
It works great on my Extang tonneau cover on my GMC
