Here is a series of pictures from my track outing on Sat. The car was yanking the fronts pretty hard. Went all new bests in all incrementals except one......right off the trailer no less! I heard a noise in the rear end on my second pass during shutdown and loaded up and came home. Found some broken teeth on the ring gear when I pulled it apart this afternoon. I've ordered a Pro Gear to replace the previous street gear.

Needless to say there is quite a bit of ET left in the car since my first pass off the trailer is usually a throw away with the fluids/driveline being cold. With any luck I'll be back out on Nov. 18th to try it again.

Both sets of tires I run are Hoosiers. The ones in the pic are the 30 x 9 radial slicks. I never got the opportunity to run my drag radials that day.

Looks great!!
I'm running a 468 in my 69, I guess thats where the similarity ends. Could you tell me about your set up, i.e. motor trans and gear ration, Thanks, I'm just looking for an 11.

Looks great!!!!

Guys at work trying to tell me I want the rear to squat, I show them pics like this and ask where's it squating ??? They can't answer

Yep KCIR! The crew did an excellent job of prepping the track. They used plenty of "gold dust" resin on the starting line which made for excellent bite! Just wish I had not broken early because a 1.33 was almost certain once the fluids warmed up. Got your e-mail and will reply after I've had time to review.

40, nope, sold it, have kids old enough to be driving, one now that is 17, and one in about 6 months...so living through their eyes, for now

You car and combo looks great!

The Dude in the 2nd Picture under the Number 2 looks like one of the guys on Trick my Truck?..
