Whats the part called...?

I have rust all the way through my lower rear quarters and all the way through the sheet metal behind the quarters. I already bought rear quarter patch panels, what part do I need to buy to replace that other part? Or is it easily fabricated?

I think your talking about the trunk drop off. there cheap and I wouldn't want to try a fabricate one. Its spot welded to the trunk pan.

Yes I think that is it. Here is aother clear pic I found on the web of the part in question. I need to open up some boxes tonight. But I bought a complete trunk kit. Would these parts be in that box?

Might be in the trunk kit but doubt it. Just be prepared for them to be POS. the one's I got were not good quality at all.

They are called trunk drop offs. If you bought the one-piece trunk pan, they are not included. If you bought a "kit", they might be,but that really depends on the parts list.

Trunk "dropoffs" is the correct terminology,though.

I got the NPD ones that say Made In The USA.when I got them,the sticker on them said Made In Canada.oh well,guess its better than tiawan.metal is thick and looks to be ok.havent installed them yet.

Hey I have actually owned Chevy's that were made in Canada .... So I guess that's close enough.
