Hi I'm Eric.

Me and my dad have a 69 Hugger Orange Camaro Covt. SS

Original 350, not sure about the trans and rear end, the diff. cover looks aftermarket so we're not too sure about the rear.

When my dad bought it a while ago it had a couple mods, had from what I beleive a small shot of spray as well.

He tore it down about...3-5 Years ago and now I'm startin' to kinda get back on it.

Here's some pics, sorry for the size they are kinda big, some are blurry.

Gonna clean everything off the top of it after I get out of school today.

Trans (700R4..?)

Engine (Edelbrock intake & valve covers, Holly carb that's about it so far)

Door gap (We got it down smaller, it's a lot less noticeable then it was before)

And... What I did today...

Took off the old intake, dad said one of the holes were stripped so I bought him a new one for his birthday last year.

And the end result :)

I didn't tighten everything up, nor put the gaskets in, I just hand turned the bolts and nuts.

As for me, my daily driver is a 2001 S10 pickup w/ 4.3L Vortec. 2/3 Static drop, ZQ8 wheels, two 12" Infinity subs, GM rollpan, bunch of minor mods.

Thanks and I look forward to posting up here. Hopefully you guys can help me out with workin' on this car.

welcome Eric. you have a big project ahead for you but thats the fun of it all.
In the future, if you would please resize your pics to around 880x660 it would help the folks on dial up. The larger images make folks scroll side to side and that gets frustrating when there are alot of pics to see.
Thanks and welcome again :)

Good project for you and your pops Eric. You got some work to do, first thing though is get your work space (garage) in order. Good luck with getting your Camaro in order and sharpen up your photograhy skills then post your progress.

Take care and keep us posted please.

Eric, Looks like fun, I have had my 67 for just over 2 years. Taking all out side stuff off, getting ready for paint, it's a lot of work, take your time, the best thing I learned on here is when it is not going right quit for the night.GOOD LUCK
Rick
