69 Camaro Heater Control Lever repair

One of my control levers just broke about a 1/4 inch behind knob. Is there a way to repair these or get parts for them.

I have seen a person slip a piece of soft copper tube over the broken lever ends and flattened it out. Did a nice job of creating a decent quick repair.

i do beleive they sell just that one lever in the repo houses?

I never knew that part was available. I would have used that instead of buying a complete new (repro) unit.
