Welcome Jason, I have a 69 Pro-Street with a diagonal link,I have a 468 500hp with 2" headers with 3 1/2" collectors.I think I'm going Race pro mufflers with a X pipe and dump behind the tire. Do you have any recommendations for which X pipe and if race pros a the wright ones for a not to loud but a good rumble at a slow rpm but quiets down at a drivable tone. If you can maybe you can shoot me some part #s over with some prices and if I can maybe I'll get them from you. This is 304 stainless I think I want the X pipe that runs tight to the tunnel the 14" 3" side inlet 3" center outlet two 3 1/2" collectors and may be some fittings not sure which fittings though may be you can assist with the fitting list I should get.All will be 3" 304 If you can email me with your shop number.Thanks...... Can you do custom X-pipes? Or at least get more info than they manufacturers publish?
I run a flow 17139 with Borla muffs on a 68 vert. I'd like to change to an X, but the pipes are all welded up, and they tuck up into the tunnel. I have no room for movement in how far apart they are. I'd need a straight to straight X with a specific center to center distance. Some of the peices for C3 vette's look like what I need, but no one publishes the center to center. I'll get a measurement later.
