I tryed to call Mark this weekend with a line on a car he might be interested in and couldnt reach him... I was supposed to go down there last week but the bad weather and night classes screwed me.. I will try him again tomorrow

Well the car is finished and absolutely beautiful. Worth evry penny Van would be asking for it.
Got an email from Van. He already has an offer on the car from someone else. Said he'd let me know what happens with the deal. Right now I'm still looking. Car does not have to have yellow interior but must be Daytona yellow with black top. No black houndstooth though!
The offer he got is much lower than what the car is worth. Perhaps you could give him an idea what you would be willing to pay him for the car provided it is to your taste and expectations.

Hylton .. it feels so good that you think that offer was much lower than what the car is worth !!! I thought it was a lot of money ! Some people spend as much on call girls (Mr. Spitzer) and some buy cars..... yes cars.... the gift that keeps on giving . Mr. Spitzer... you coulda had a V-8 !:yes:
Talked to Van today and he sent me some pics of the car. All I can say is WOW! I am considering it however not sure that a car that nice should be driven as much as I like to drive them. Also I wish it were an X33 car. I just don't like the looks without the style trim and I'd hate to put it on that nice of a restored car. What do you guys think? Would you add style trim or not?

I say yes. You would not be making major changes to the car. All that trim can be easily removed. What is more difficult is finding a car with the combination that you are looking for.
no! a Z28 is supposed to be a bare bone "sports car" not some "gussied up" street walker, leave the options to the heavy cars
when I see rear wheel lip moldings I just imagine how bad the quarters must have been that they needed to hide the work behind an aluminum molding ...

make it into whatever YOU want, after all it is YOUR dream
IF you want the yellow interior, then add it, add whatever you want it to have, it is YOURS!
