This 68 ragtop is coming up later this summer at an estate auction. Im trying to reach the owners, (I know their son) and get a trip to see it and take pics in person.

The only info. in the auction bill is this:
1968 CHEVY CAMARO CONVERTIBLE,
Auto, 6-Cyl., 2-Dr., No Rust,
Runs Good, Real Sharp

Anyone care to take a shot at the value of this at auction, with this limited info? Remember its in a small town in northern Minn. hopefully that keeps the attendance down ;)

If it's as clean as they say or looks...
I'd have to say $20K minimum,
...over $30K on Craigslist,
$40K on ebay or a dealer.

small town auction house in Longville, MN., (next to the turtle races),...you might get it for $3500

Estate sales can be a gold mine? :beers:

I would say you would be better off buyer before the auction. If it's listed
in the auction notification, people will come. I have seen junk sell for twice as much as it's worth in these auctions. People get goofy.

I dont think theres any chance this car would go for 40k on ebay. Nor do i think you could ever pick it up for $3500 at an estate auction.
I was saying upper teens would be a decent price to pay.
