I have a 12 bolt rear that I am trying to ID. It is the narrower first gen rear, but I couldnt find a cast date code in any of the center section webs. On the passenger side tube I found this "QS 06 010 C1". Any idea what this rear is? When I bought this rear years ago it had 4:10 gears in it with a date code of 3 66 but I dont know if they were the originals or not. Any ideas?

Hey Jim thanks! Any idea what year rear it is? No wonder the gears got changed, that is one high gear!

I will double check the code..the TC listing shows it as a 10 bolt posi, and the code doesnt show up that I see on the other site. Definately a 12 bolt..but I guess it doesnt really matter, I was just curious.

Double checked it, definately the QS code..
QS 06 01 C1 is the stamping, I added an extra number by accident in the first post but the "C" is probably a "G". Kurt how do you get the 12 bolt code when everyone else shows 10 bolt? This is definately a camaro or nova rear.
