My 1967 Glove box has the following Label:

PART NO. 3917572 (the part number is on all the labels at the bottom)
If you can not read the part number give me the numbers as follows:
Cool HOT
xx xx
xx xx
xx xx
xx xx
VEHICLE LOAD LIMIT = xxx LBS.

This does not appear to be a common label and I am trying to find out why. I have a friend with this label also.

If you have an ORIGINAL 1967 Camaro and you have this label, please post the following. It won't help at all if you do not have the ORIGINAL information on the car.

Engines Size & HP (If you don't know HP and just motor size, just put that)
Engine I.D. if you have
Transmission Which Auto or Which Manual
Rear End:
Convertible: Yes or No
What Interior: Standard or Deluxe/Custom
Original Tire Size:
Plant: Norwood or LA

What you don't know, don't worry about. I will give the results.
If you have a car that you do not want to post here, send me a private mail and I will use the stats only.

Dale - Mine is 3909997. I understand this part number is unique to an SS350. Mine is an original RS/SS 350 car. It is an L48/M20. It has the original 12 bolt and matching number M20. It is a coupe with standard interior.
Dale, sorry I didn't give you the numbers. They are the same as Russ posted. Here they are:

Hot Cold
26 32
26 32

vehicle load limit = 950lbs

'67 coupe, LA built

Powerglide, non console, column shift

I can only guess it was "standard" size tire.
Cool Hot
Front 24 34
Rear 24 30
Optional:

Rear: 22 28
vehicle load limit:

I quess we will find out. I checked a little over 100 cars last year, 327's and only 3 cars had it. I don't know that it is not 80% of all the cars in America. If you already know, could you let us know. I have talked to no one that does so far. Thanks for the help. No one seems to know what they mean or how many different ones there were. May tell us something interesting, maybe not. Keep it coming. I am writing the stats on all of them. I will let you know if I get enough info. I would love to have about 300 cars with that label. I am totaling the others also.

Just a quick note their are early and late 1967 tire pressure lables, early list 5 passenger late list 4 passenger. The Camaro is a 4 Passenger vehicle which is why the early 5 passenger tire pressure decals were replaced. The 3917572 is used for all late except rs396 (3917576) and rs350 convertible (3917574) these are the late tire pressure part numbers, remember early are different numbers. Their is a Chevrolet Dealer Service Technical Bulletin on this number 67-T-12 dated 2-14-67 Sincerely Brian K.

Brian - Is it true that all early SS350 cars in 67 had the 3909997 label? According to your post, the later SS350 cars would have the 3917572 label. Is that correct?

It looks like other early 67 cars had the 3909997 label since Russ has one on his 327 RS. So this label was not specific for an SS350.

Hi Daral my early Nov 66 build RSSS350 coupe has the 3909997. I have no factory info on the early numbers but I think the D70-14 redline tires (which where an option but standard on SS350) used the 3909997. The Standard 67 Tire pressure decal is 3909996. I have no info on a early SS396 tire pressure decal so only can assume the change in decals took place before or the same time this option was introduced. It would be more curious about convertibles and the rare 67 Z28's and what numbers they used.

It would be good to track if the car is a Norwood or Los Angeles build Camaro.

My 67 Oct build (10D) Los, L30-M20, glove box tire sticker 390996 (24 cool, 30 hot) tires that came on it were Laredo 7.35 X 14. It's the 5 passenger sticker. I always wondered how I was going to fit 5 passengers in my Camaro!

A 67 SS350 here has the same label as my 67, it's an 01D build date.

327/210, powerglide, 12 bolt posi, ratio unknown, original tires 7.35x14 (I still have the original spare, God forbid I should ever have to use it)

Label shows:

24 30
24 30
950 lbs
5 pass + 200 lbs
3909996

Hope this helps

Wow, besides the huge white ring outside of the black edge circle there are many other obvious differences between a repop and the real thing when you see them side by side. Amazing that the repop market can't even duplicate something as simple as a sticker.

Mark,
I was laughing at your comments. You are right. That is pretty funny. Someone else should remake these and make them look better.

I have not revisited this thread since it appeared that not that many people were interested in this. I also will post a picture of my label. I am trying to find what the correlation between the label and the "Car" is. I believe there is one. Maybe there already is a tread on this (I have not found it). Are there any GM notes regarding this?? That is what I am trying to find out.

Also, as many of you already know, some of the labels for the cars are not made??
Why is this?? It is a dumb piece of paper. You would think that whoever is making these would make all of them?? I am remaking my own. I will show it to you guys when (if) I finish it.

THANK YOU ALL THAT HAVE POSTED!!! IF YOU CAN, POST A PICTURE OF YOUR LABEL IF IT IS DIFFERENT THAT ABOVE.

I am working on restoring an EXACT Original. Am not sure why the parts houses can not do that. I Keep working on it a little at a time. You can see my progress so far.
Does anyone know what the G, H, R, etc. that are in the middle of the different labels mean??

These letters are from the repo's and not accurate.
Would still like to get more label info on Original cars with Original Labels.
Thank you all that have posted so far.
