I have an opportunity to buy a 1969 Firebird that has a 69 Camaro RS front end.
The Body work is done and is painted black. The rear floor pan and trunk floor need replacing, the Sub frame, rear rails and trunk rails are great. The front clip is not bolted on and the sub frame & firewall are painted.
It's really a nice body with the firebird interior that needs replacing. To make it a Camaro, I would need to cover the bird emblem in the 1/4s and replace the tail pan w/ a camaro one. For what was done to this car I could never buy a 69 Camaro in that shape and I sure don't have the money for it. Since people are building 69's in all type of mods I see no problem of building this. My question is, will I have any trouble bolting the Camaro front clip to the firebird. I believe the Main body is interchangeable with both mfg's body panels. It also has a 80's 350 and turbo 400 and a 10 bolt rear. Please advise- NO Cheap Shots Thanks
