1969 Convertible power switch removal process? Top is stuck in down position, best way to jump the circuit to raise and lower till I can repair? Thanks Bob

Bob, the wiring harness is push on block with spring loaded contacts. You should be able to pull it off from the back and get it down enough to clean the contacts. Power comes in the center hole, up and down are the outside ones. If the switch is bad and only works in one direction, you can turn the contact upside down to get the other leg working :)

If your hands are nimble you can remove the chrome switch bezel which is held on with two nuts. (Same procedure as the De-Fog switch.)
The metal switch carrier will then come off the back as a unit.
Then remove the small clips that hold the switch in the carrier by pushing in the side holes with an small screwdriver or awl.
I think switch replacement is covered in the Fisher body manual but not too sure - been a while.
