Hey guys I have a 69 Z 28 and it has the console package...It the 4 pack of gauges and they are with black faces , not white...Just checking if this could have been done at the factory, or maybe did some one just change them over to black when the gauges went bad, ( maybe the dealer under a warranty repair ) ...your thoughts ????.... I think the Nova used the black faced gauges, not the Camaro, but could have been service replaced by dealer or otherwise. I hope some expert answers with a definitive.
The Novas had black face gauges. Same identical gauge pack as 68/9 Camaro, except the color. As far as I know, all 68/9 Camaro had silver face.

As stated the black faces were Nova, but the color of the lens lighting will tell you if it is 68/69 or 70. Green is early, white/blue is late and the pod should have a paper label with manufacturing date rubber stamped on it.
